5 Meals, 1 Chicken

So this has seen us through many a frugal time, but you don't have to be strapped for cash to enjoy all of these meals. They're a very cost effective way to stretch meat without compromising on flavour.


Start with one large chicken approx 2.5kg (or two small 1.5kg ones if you can't get a large one).


Portion the chicken and take the skin off, so that you have the pieces to work with:


- chicken wings (for nibbles!)

- thighs

- breasts

- legs
