Burgers really are the things that you can chop and change the flavours. You can add a dash of cream to make it softer, chillis and Worcestershire sauce to make it darker and spicier or smokey bbq. You choose! This is a good base with an Italian flavour:

600g good quality beef mince
1 onion, finely chopped
Italian mixed herbs
1 tbsp Tomato paste
1 tsp wholegrain mustard (can use dijon)
2 crusts of bread made into breadcrumbs
Salt and Pepper
Burger buns, toasted.
Heat oil in a non-stick fry pan or griddle and cook until lovely and brown on each side and cooked through the middle (this will vary dependent on the size).
Serve in a bun with cheese (if you like it), lovely fresh salad and your choice of sauces. For added yummyness, grill the cheese - or use a blow torch if you're a pyromaniac.

With coleslaw and oven baked sweet potato chips
