Cajun Spice Mix

This recipe gives you a medium heat mix, so you can add more or less on the cayenne pepper and chilli flakes....

2 tsp salt

2 tsp garlic powder

2 and a half tsp paprika (normally we use smoked paprika)

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 and a half tsp dried oregano

1 and a half tsp dried thyme

half a tsp chilli flakes

Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix, or a jar and shake until well blended.

Great for coating chicken or mix it with panko crumbs for a crunchy coating.
